GeoProMining appoints a new director for its Yakutian assets

GeoProMining, a diversified international mining group (GPM or the Company), is pleased to announce that Alexander Kopyakov has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sarylakh-Surma and Zvezda, Yakutia-based assets of GeoProMining Group. Prior to the appointment Alexander was GeoProMining’s Director for technical policy and project manager of Yakutian projects.

“We are pleased that Alexander Kopyakov have headed our production facilities in Yakutia. Fortunately, he is well familiar with their specifics. His extensive experience in managing such projects, clear understanding of GPM’s strategic goals as well as a comprehensive approach to the objectives set for our Yakutian assets will be instrumental in further sustainable development of our group in this region”, said GPM President Roman Khudoliy.

GeoProMining has owned two assets in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) since 2007: the Sarylakh-Surma production complex, which consists of the Sarylakh mine and a processing plant; and Zvezda, which develops the Sentachan gold and antimony deposit.
